After sitting empty since the mid 1970s, the first phase of the Ambler Boiler House is completed. Domus, Inc., has been involved in the project since 2001 when it was contracted by Summit Realty to provide pre-construction services. The Boiler House will be the center of a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) that contains 42,273 square feet of office space and has received LEED Platinum certification. The work consisted of restoration of the masonry walls and steel, new windows and roof and the installation of a geothermal system for heating and cooling.
