On February 8th, a groundbreaking celebration for Father Augustus Tolton Place was held. This three story residential building for seniors is being developed by Catholic Housing and Community Services. Congratulations of entire development team! See project page for more details.

On September 20, a ground breaking event was held for Cantrell Place. New construction of one 4 story building and one 3 story building with associated site work on 6 consolidated parcels, including parking and gardens on the 400 and 500 blocks of Cantrell Street.

On December 6th, ground breaking will be held for a new 125-seat two-story restaurant planned for 40th Street and Baltimore Avenue by the trolley terminal. Planning to attend will be Mayor Kenney and Councilwoman Janney Blackwell.
